Alkaline Green Apple Avocado Salad

Ingredients:

  • Tempeh 2 oz.
  • Peppers, sweet, red, raw 1/2 small 
  • Lettuce, butterhead (includes boston and bibb types), raw 2 cup(s), shredded or chopped 
  • Avocados, raw, California 1/4 fruit without skin and seeds 
  • Raw Apples 1 medium (2-3/4" dia) (approx 3 per lb.) 
  • Almonds 1/5 cup(s), slivered 

Instructions: 

Cook tempeh according to directions, and cut in cubes. Put into a large bowl adding the lettuce, avocado, pepper, apples and almonds. Toss well. Drizzle with alkaline dressing of choice. 

Tip: 

You can subsitute tempeh with grilled chicken or fish of choice.
