Alkaline Quinoa Bean Burrito

Ingredients: 

  • Quinoa, cooked 1/2 cup Black Beans - Cooked 1/3 cup(s) 
  • Sprouted tortilla 1 1 tortilla 
  • Lime juice, raw 1 lime yields 
  • Olive Oil, extra virgin 1 tsp(s) 
  • Avocados, raw, California 1/2 fruit without skin and seeds 
  • Assortment of dark leafy greens of your choice 1 1 cup 
  • Red Tomatoes 1/2 medium whole (2-3/5" dia) 
  • Onions, raw 1/4 medium (2-1/2" dia) 
  • Garlic, raw 1 cloves 
  • Cumin Seed (ground) 1 tsp(s) 
  • Chili Powder 1 tsp(s) 
  • Cilantro 1 1/2 sprigs 

Instructions: 

Put beans in a pot with just enough water to cover then add the cumin, chili powder, minced garlic and salt until. Cook for 10 
minutes on low to medium heat until water is gone or drain excess. 

On your sprouted tortilla add the quinoa, the beans, chopped onion and tomato, cilantro and sliced avocado. Squeeze some of 
the fresh lime over the top along with sea salt to taste. Finish with a layer of leafy greens. Wrap your tortilla and buen apetito! 
Can also add homemade salsa if desired.
