Alkaline Tomato and Herb Melody Soup

Ingredients: 

  • Red Tomatoes 4 plum tomato 
  • Avocados, raw, California 1 fruit without skin and seeds 
  • Onions, raw 1/4 cup(s), chopped 
  • Organic vegetable broth 1 cup 
  • Ground Oregano 1 tsp(s) 
  • Basil, fresh 4 leaves 
  • Parsley, raw 1 sprigs 
  • Cayenne Pepper 1 dash 
  • Garlic, raw 3 clove(s) (minced) 
  • Olive Oil, extra virgin 1 tbsp(s) 
  • Spices, dill weed, dried 1 tbsp(s) 
  • Quinoa, cooked 1/2 cup 
  • Alkaline Water or filtered water 2 cup 

Instructions: 

Blend all ingredients (except quinoa) together in a blender until smooth, than pour into saucepan. Heat on low for 15 minutes (or longer if desired). Add quinoa to the soup at the end so as not to double cook. Throw a few fresh basil leaves on top and serve! 

Tip: 

Can use wild or brown rice instead of quinoa.
